*panting* can i get one of these in a take out box please!!! Oh my, I so need a cold shower after reading this book. It was GREAT!! this is the second in the set of books I have for this writer and all she does is keeps getting better with each one!! No grammar mistakes which is a huge bonus for me as I HATE correcting work that has been published! I do recommend you read THE ROUGH MATING OF A VAMPIRE (The Vampire Coalition) first otherwise there are spoilers for it in this book. Which is why I said the second in the set!Product details

Really good storyline, but I would have loved to have more action. The story reminds me of Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed series in regards to the soulmate aspect. If the author chose to really apply herself, she could create an amazing novel of 200+ pages each, which of course is what I would love. I only noticed a couple errors but nothing too concerning. Overall great story and will continue reading the series when I get the chance.
I LOVED this short story!!! What a nice change, not the same ole Vampire story you always hear or read about.
I look forward to reading about all of Ethans brothers as they also find their mates...
For a very short story this author did a fine job putting it altogether.
Great cast of characters, very SEXY and romantic, and it even has some action...

I am very biased when it comes to books about Vampires! This fun and fast read was sexy and filled with tension. The plot was evident from the beginning, but Brianna was sick and receiving chemo treatments. Then you find out her real illness. When these two come together the sparks fly. Surrounding all the love and crazed sex is humor. It was just the right amount to ease the tension and keep the reader sane. If you love vamps, then check out this free read. Now on to the brother, Rory's story. I know what to expect!
This was a new twist to my favorite paranormal read vampires. The twist is mentioned within the description humans can be keepers of the vampires soul. If you are seeking more of a love story and not as much gore as some vampire reads. Then I would recommend starting with Ethan's Mate of The Vampire Coalition. You definitely won't want to stop reading. You will also want to know what happens with his brothers.
What would you do if you were suddenly able to hear the person that you are meant to be with after so long of thinking you would always be alone?
Ethan has been alive for hundreds of years and he had never found his other half so to speak, one day when he should be asleep that all changes and as soon as he is able to move around he has only one goal and that is to find his human counter part and protect her with every last breath in him. He knows the dangers that are out there but he doesn't care as long as his mate is safe from harm.
Brianna is dying and she knows this but when suddenly she finds out there is a way to stay alive she is cautious at first but the attraction and feeling of being safe for the first time in a long time has her thinking that maybe she should consider what the handsome stranger is talking about.
J.S. Scott is talented beyond compare! Her writing style is amazing, she can rope you into a book within the first few pages and have you on the edge of your seat wanting more and more within the first chapter. I can't wait to read more from this talented author!
"Ethan's Mate"Book 1 of The Vampire Coalition series. Ethan is a Vampire and his mate Brianna is ill and dying, she calls to him to help her. Brianna also, tells him she fells something evil present with her. Ethan doesn't know where Brianna is so he must follow the trail of her voice when she is not to weak to call to him.
The Vampires in this book reminds of the The Carpathians in Christine Feehan Dark Series. The Coalition Vampires hunt the evil Vampires who have fallen and are lost to blood lust. The Coalition Vampires must find their soul mates to obtain the other half of of their soul. They have to wait for the human female to call to them. If the female doesn't call to them before she turn 30 she will die. The Coalition vampires have great paranormal powers, they are true Vampires and not these new modern bottle blood drinking Vampires. I was very impressed with J. S. Scott ability to craft a well rounded, erotic romance in about 60 pages. I have read 5 books in last week and Only one was Great!! the other four were horrible. So I am really Impressed with Ethan's Mate by J.S. Scott and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU READ IT.
1 down and three to go! Love how the story is brought to life. Love and compassion and true devotion! I admit I like it a little rough but I don't think I could let myself be dominated that way but that's why it is Brianna and not me. It is a good story and to the point. You know what is exactly going to happen and it makes you feel like your one of the viewers of the mating process. Can't wait to see how and if the other Hale brothers get there chance at a long waited for mate!
